The Big Day!

Daisy Cake

Last week on the 25th was my 25th birthday! (25 on 25, cool!) I have had a wonderful week!! Last Saturday John took me to the Metropolitan for an exquisite meal! Thank you honey!! It was such a fun evening! On my birthday, my parents took John and I to the Bombay House for Indian food and then we had cake at our apartment! My mom made a delicious white cake with lemon custard! It was oh so delicious! It was shaped like my favorite flower, a daisy! Thank you mom for the wonderful and thoughtful treat! This weekend we went with my crew to the Holi Festival and then more Indian food (i just can't enough!) I will post more pics later but for now.. Happy Birthday to me! I like to stretch my birthday celebration out as long as possible.. so hopefully I will post more events soon!

I have been raving about this cute little guy for days now!! Everyone, please meet Peter. He lives in our yard at the house!! Our own Easter Bunny all year long! He is so cute!

Easter seems like so long ago!!! I can't believe how time is flying by!! Easter weekend was the grand finale of our Spring Break! We celebrated by hiking and eating oh so yummy food! (thanks mom!!)

Step it Up

I have so many things to post and hardly anytime to do it. I really need to step it up! School is crazy, work is tedious and I can't seem to upload pictures at home on the macbook right now (anyone have any ideas why?)!!

(on another note: Don't you just love the picture!! I do! I'm going to get on my carpenter's waiting list (aka my reamer) to see if he will build this for me! We do have a house to fill up after all.. which reminds me, I need to post pics, if only I could!)

Yesterday morning at our house John and I were standing out on the front lawn when John touched my arm and whispered, "Annie, look there's a bunny." I looked over and sure enough a big gray brown bunny was starring back at me! Our own easter bunny to help us celebrate the first day of spring! Hippity Hop Happy Hop!

House

Yesterday John and I walked through our new old house for the first time!!!! It is soooo exciting!!! Our house is so so great!! I will post the beginnings of "before" images soon!! For now, I wanted to express my incredible excitement of this new adventure in our lives as first time home owners!!! GO Team Ream!!

St. Patricks Day part 1

We have been excited for St. Patrick's Day for months now! It has now come and gone so quickly. However, it lasted three days for us members of Team Ream (Sporting green t-shirts that said "Irish I were Drunk"). Trust me, three days was enough for another year!

Here is a picture of cute John and pug enjoying the parade on Saturday morning! The SLC St. Patrick's Day parade is so so fun!! It starts early in the morning at yet people young and old manage to get up early and get drunk before coming to participate in the parade! The people watching is unbelievable! My parents are so fun to go with because we usually end up loosing my dad only to find him marching in the parade (and supposedly he is one of the few sober ones!). This year he marched with a hearse advertising a funeral home. How strange to have a funeral home in a parade, seems wrong somehow. Anyway, my dad got a kick out of himself marching next to the hearse! We loved it too! We are all proud to be part Irish!!

Spring Break

Spring Break officially started on Monday for us crazy college kids!!
