The Museum Closet Door is Closed.

Today marks the last day of my job in the museum closet. I am sad that this experience is over but am so grateful for all of the wonderful things that I have learned! What a great and fun job I had (many thanks to my cute boss Jenny)!! In honor of my little closet filled with objects, I wanted to look back at a few of my favorite projects (I have so many, I had to really narrow it down!) Bye Museum closet! Thanks for the good times and for teaching me so much! I'll miss you!

Chop lesson plan and actvity I wrote. (This is when I was practicing the activity to make sure it made sense!)

Santos Figure of Saint Francis (this is one of my first objects that I researched to purchase. I accessioned it, marked it.. did the whole process!)

Medieval Santos Sculpture. On this object I was able to work with the conservator to learn the proper way to mount and conserve this peice.

Mask that I attempted to do research on, but never found any concrete information on. I blame Boreth.

This project was amazing! This poster was found in the catacombs and appears to be signed by Man Ray himself! What a great experience to work with a signed object and work through the Man Ray Foundation to find out how much it was worth and eventually to sell it (thanks to my professor Monty for that!)

Giant Silk Road Box Project!! objects, lesson plans, research! This one took some time. I was able to work with a great team, Jenny and Virginia!

Also one of my research to purchase items! I love this one!
